I am night
Dark and quiet
Creepy and silent
I start at 9 and last
Till 7
At this time is when I’m most alive,
While most people settle to sleep.
I’m sometimes intruded by rain
But I’m mostly chilly except
During the summer.
the moon
Is my partner the stars
Are my friends
This is what I am
I am night.
