Lying in bed
Staring at the sky
Thinking of all those who said good bye
All those who lied
and each lie turned to bricks
To guard my heart
It illness already weakened
It's rims faded and darkened
Malicious birds snap their beaks
And tear at our flesh
Who'd have known I'd be you and I
Though thousands of miles separate us from unique smiles
Crooked smiles
For we'd
Fear actually smiling and ruining what seems to be a lie.
You who I dare call my friend
You who I dream of to no end
You who I'd give anything to just reach in..
